Knotty Hooker Designs: In May 2013, I started an online charity and pay-it-forward program called Crochet For Critters. My local NO KILL shelter was in desperate need for funds to help the critters there, so I decided to use my crochet skills to design patterns and sell them with ALL proceeds going to AVHS. http://www.ark-valley.org This means not one penny goes in my own pockets. This is my labor of love, and I do it all for them. People in my community donate yarn and other materials and I donate my skills and time. Together with all the wonderful people out there purchasing these patterns, we have saved and placed many animals. But there's a 2nd best part...I decided to take it one step further and ask every person that buys a pattern to make an item from it and donate it to a child in need.
